Life is too short to not live it to the fullest! And one of the best ways to get there is to feel happy and healthy in your own skin!

My Fitness Journey

I was bullied growing up and there were many times in my life where I felt weak and helpless. I was self conscious, lacked confidence, was a people pleaser and didn't know how to set boundaries. Eventually, I found myself in a very toxic relationship. The thing that saved me was the gym and changing my mindset. I noticed how small victories in the gym gave me confidence in the real world. I slowly began to cultivate more self love and this spread into every aspect of my life. I began to notice how many women felt intimidated to go to the gym and I wanted to help them. So, I left my cushy Environmental Consulting job downtown to pursue my passion for personal training in 2016. Now, I help men and women regain their own inner strength and power, just like I did.

Through the gym, I have built up the courage, confidence and discipline to go after my dreams.

In 2018, I lived in Mexico on my own for 4 months.

In 2019, I drove across Canada on my own and lived out of my van for a month.

In 2020, I got laid off from my job so I started my own health and fitness coaching business.

In 2021, I won my very first bodybuilding competition and delivered a TEDx Talk called "Listen To Your Body".

Over the years I have gained valuable skills, knowledge, and expertise.

I have led bootcamps, hosted online zoom workouts and trained a diverse range of clients.

You can do anything you set your mind to. At some point you have to set your fears aside and go after what you want in life. Whether that is achieving your dream body, starting your own business or asking your crush begins at the edge of your comfort zone. So buckle up!

Although I have been an athlete my whole life, I also know what it feels like to let yourself go. Your body aches, you have low energy and you gain weight in all the wrong places. It affects your entire life. You feel weak, unattractive and don’t feel as confident as you’d like to.

I listen to my clients with my ears, eyes and heart. Every client is unique, and I pay close attention to the needs of each.

When my clients win, I win!

My other passions and hobbies include watching comedy, photography, making playlists, writing, surfing, being in nature (especially at the beach), reading a good book and encouraging others to follow their dreams! I try not to take life too seriously and believe laughter is the best medicine…in addition to taking good care of you body! 😊. This is how I came up with “Lift, Love, Laugh”.
