My Fitness Journey

I started training myself when I was 18 years old and quickly fell in love with bodybuilding style workouts. Teaching people how to regain their vitality through the power of health and fitness has been a passion of mine since I was 19. I left my cushy Environmental Consulting job downtown to pursue my passion in personal training in 2016. Over the years I have gained valuable skills, knowledge, and expertise.

I have led bootcamps, hosted online zoom workouts and trained a diverse range of clients.

Although I have been an athlete my whole life, I also know what it feels like to let yourself go. Your body aches, you have low energy and you gain weight in all the wrong places. It affects your entire life. You feel weak, unattractive and don’t feel as confident as you’d like to.

I listen to my clients with my ears, eyes and heart. Every client is unique, and I pay close attention to the needs of each.

When my clients win, I win!

My other passions and hobbies include watching comedy, photography, making playlists, writing, surfing, being in nature (especially at the beach), reading a good book and encouraging others to follow their dreams! I try not to take life too seriously and believe laughter is the best medicine…in addition to taking good care of you body! 😊. This is how I came up with “Lift, Love, Laugh”.

Another reason why I do what I do is for the feeling of internal strength that comes after completing a workout. Going to the gym has helped me through many tough times in my life. Anytime I feel down, unsure of what to do in my life or not good about myself, I move my body.

Over the years, this has built strength, resilience and my character. I want others, especially women, to feel that same feeling and know that no matter what is going on in your life, you're always one workout away from a better mood!
